Judge Rutherford steps off a curb, is struck by a truck and dies.....

pastor charles taze russell died on a train outside pampas texas in october of 1916.. shortly afterward a phonecall was placed to j.f.rutherford that "the old man is dead.".

as we all know, rutherford wasted no time.

he engineered a series of moves that placed himself at the helm of a publishing company.

i received the following email from a former jw that i thought to share.

note: i retyped the boe letter that was sent from the christian congregation of jehovahs witnesses to all congregations in the us.

the letter is authentic.

"But you, when making gifts of mercy, do not let your left hand know what your right is doing, that your gifts of mercy may be in secret; the your Father who is looking on in secret will repay you." Matthew 6:3,4

Sorry Brothers. I take Jesus words very seriously. That's why all my donations are in cash. Not being able to deduct it from my taxes is a small price to pay for obedience.

Is there anyway to get a consistent high level leak....????

i often wonder if anyone has a good consistent leak from the top level of the wtbts.

if not how can we get one, one with high level clearance.

they can't want much, probably just another $110 per month or whatever they are getting now, times are tough.. nothing would shake the borg more than consistent correct information coming out early via the internet.. nothing is sacred, all is revealed through a well hidden leak.. mtm.

I don't think overt, immediate, bribery would work for most Bethelites.

Most Bethelites have already bought into long-term bribery from the Org. This is not the "Real Life". They will get their pay-off of dead people's mansions and tiger petting if they remain loyal to the Watchtower and run like hell from demonized Apostates.

My Father passed away during the night

he was powerful, tall and intelligent, yet humble and kind.

he was an introvert, and a circuit overseer.

i was watching the cnn this evening..watched hilliary clinton walk towards some dignataries in a foreign land.

i saw that she was well dressed in a pant suit.

she is the us secretary of state, and what she wore was dignified.

No pant suits for women.

No beards for brothers.

It's not modest and well-arranged.

Pay no attention to the US Secretary of State who wears pant suits or the US Chairman of the Federal Reserve who has a neatly trimmed beard.

At the age of 48 I just graduated with my BA degree from college and I am on top of the world

i thought i would never get my college degree from a university in this century at the age of 48 but i did it and graduated with an "a-" average.

i did this all the while working a full time job and going to school full time.

it can be done and now i love school to death.

I was content with my B.A. (Bachelor of Awake!) for the first few decades of my life.

I'm now working on my M.A. ( Master of Apostasy ).

But someday I'd like to be a PhD. ( Pretty holistic dude. )
